Free returns, free exchanges, no hassles! US-based customers can return unworn shoes* for a refund or exchange within 30 days. We partner with Happy Returns to offer safe, contactless, and sustainable returns and exchanges. With over 2,600 drop-off locations nationwide, Happy Returns makes returns and exchanges easy.
To drop off your return or exchange:
1. Start your return here and choose the “Return Bar” option.
2. Receive a QR code via email for no-contact drop off.
3. Drop off your shoes in their original shoe box at your closest Happy Returns Return Bar.
4. Your refund will be initiated immediately, or your exchange will be mailed, free of charge.
5. Your styles are then shipped back to our warehouses in reusable packaging for a more sustainable process from start to finish.
To mail your return or exchange:
1. Start your return here and choose the “Mail” option.
2. Print the pre-paid shipping label & attach to a shipping box.
3. Mail your unworn shoes back via FedEx Office within 30 days.
4. It may take up to 3 weeks to process your return, and you’ll receive notification if your return is approved. If items selected for exchange sell out, you will be issued a refund.
5. Be sure to only use our pre-paid return labels so we can track your return. We are unable to refund lost returns using labels other than our own.

*There is no additional shipping cost for an exchanged item. Exchanges can be made for the same item or a different color item within the same product group for equal or lower price. Lower priced items will not receive a refund of the difference. If a promo code was used on the original item purchased, it will be honored on the exchanged item. We cannot process exchanges for other styles. We recommend submitting a return for a refund so you can place a new order for the item you want. Final sale items are not eligible for return or exchange. Sam Edelman is not responsible for returns until they are received in our warehouse. As of January 4, 2023, Happy Returns is implementing a return limit of 9 items per return. Any returns with 10 or more items will need to be mailed in or split into separate returns.
International Return Instructions
International circusny.com customers have 30 days from their order date to return unworn merchandise. All international orders must be returned via Borderfree and must include a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form. Please send an email to our customer service center to receive your RMA number.
Refunds on international returns will include duties, taxes and tariffs when they are shipped with your RMA form to Borderfree. Your account will be credited by Borderfree when your return is received at the international hub. Returns sent without the RMA form may not be refunded for the full amount.
Unfortunately, samedelman.com cannot refund your original shipping and handling fees. Any costs for shipping your returned order back to our Returns Department from Borderfree will be subtracted from your refund total.
